The Golden Egg Restaurant Located at 2660 Washtenaw Ave. in Ypsilanti has gone through some name changes in the past few years. However brothers Eraldi and Miklovan Marko bought the restaurant in January. I think any one who comes in will notice some of the differences. They have added more homemade items such as navy bean soup, chicken lemon rice soup, stuffed peppers and cabbage also croissant sandwiches. The Markos also plan some physical upgrades for the diner, including new paint and carpet, and hope to be open for dinner starting in March. "We wanted something that had a homey feel," Eraldi Marko said. "this place has a perfect atmosphere - the place is so small, everybody knows everybody." Hours: Daily, 7am-4pm
